CHILDREN at Unique LA show

This coming weekend, December 13th and 4th, CHILDREN will be downtown at the California Market Center selling limited numbers of our new stock.  Click here for samples of what we’ll have.

Unique LA is a going to be an awesome show!  A definite one-stop spot to get all your Christmas shopping done and plus some hot goods for yourself.  Some of the standout brands that will be there (besides CHILDREN) are Johnny Cupcakes, Rock Scissor Paper, Fresh Pressed, kids brand Kingsley and our home girls at Shang-a-Lang.

And once again, CHILDREN’s own DJ Bryan Davidson will be keeping the energy high, spinning tunes aaaaallll weekend long.

The California Market Center is at:

110 East 9th Street, Los Angeles, CA (map)

We’ll see you there!

Argentinean graffiti animation. rad.

Artist Blu put out this sick video he put together.  I can’t imagine the time and energy this took.  It’s a super creative use of wall-art/graffiti  that I’ve never seen before.  Check it out:

MUTO a wall-painted animation by BLU from blu on Vimeo.

It’s well worth the 7 minutes. And a big shout to my boy Isaac for sending me the link!

Also check the sight, www.blublu.com, and look at the sketch books.  It’s like hipster, moribund Gary Larson art.  Some of it is disturbingly apathetic, but it’s all really cool and clever.

Graffiti artist Daim - 3D graffiti

I just saw this on Engadget and thought it was bad-ass.

The famous German graffiti artist, Daim created a way to make 3 dimensional art by setting up cameras around him while he drags around a sensor that acts like a “marker”.  The cameras track the movement of the “marker” and software translates that movement into lines in all 3 dimensions to make 3D graffiti.

It’s like digital sculpture graffiti.  Pimp.

The future!  Check the vid:
