Fresh new website, fresh new streetwear, fresh new company, fresh new t-shirts… just plain fresh

The website has been updated. Thank God for tech savvy brothers-in-law who know how to do this stuff.

So yeah, the site has a new look and the clothes are selling. Things are good.

Show me some love.

Backside Records and Clothing

Backside Records in downtown Burbank recently started carrying CHILDREN. This place used to be a record store with a small apparell section, probably like 10 shirts. It’s turned into a really dope clothing store carrying a bunch of top streetwear names like Schmack, Triumvir3, FreshJive, OBEY and of course: CHILDREN.

Check them out:

139 N. San Fernando Blvd.
Burbank, CA 91502

Peep their vinyl selection while you’re there too. They’ve always got good finds on used hip-hop.

The Fresh Jive Tide tee, logo parodies

There used to be a store on 3rd St near Crescent Heights called Funkeesntials (I think that’s how it was spelled).  It was the original, first streetwear store in LA.  They carried Fresh Jive, GAT, Drawls.  Man… remember that shit?

Anyway, I had the FreshJive tide tee when I was a kid.  I got it in 5th grade and rocked it until I was 21… literally.  The collar was tearing off it, it had holes in it.  I loved that damned shirt.  So they’re re-releasing it.  I think I have to buy it.

I think they should have kept the “89″ off the bottom of the shirt, but it’s still mad tight.

I don’t think the logo parodying thing will ever die.  Anyone remember that shirt form Union years ago: American Sexpress - Don’t leave without it, Homes.  Loved that one too, I rocked it for years.
