Argentinean graffiti animation. rad.
Artist Blu put out this sick video he put together. I can’t imagine the time and energy this took. It’s a super creative use of wall-art/graffiti that I’ve never seen before. Check it out:
MUTO a wall-painted animation by BLU from blu on Vimeo.
It’s well worth the 7 minutes. And a big shout to my boy Isaac for sending me the link!
Also check the sight, www.blublu.com, and look at the sketch books. It’s like hipster, moribund Gary Larson art. Some of it is disturbingly apathetic, but it’s all really cool and clever.
Graffiti artist Daim - 3D graffiti
I just saw this on Engadget and thought it was bad-ass.
The famous German graffiti artist, Daim created a way to make 3 dimensional art by setting up cameras around him while he drags around a sensor that acts like a “marker”. The cameras track the movement of the “marker” and software translates that movement into lines in all 3 dimensions to make 3D graffiti.
It’s like digital sculpture graffiti. Pimp.
The future! Check the vid:
